Metter Middle School teachers attended the Ron Clark Academy (RCA) Experience in Atlanta late last week. RCA’s Professional Development Experience for Educators is a completely unique, immersive experience where the teachers observed classes in session, giving a deeper understanding of strategies for engaging students, promoting academic excellence, fostering meaningful relationships, and creating a climate and culture that promotes success for all. Teachers had the opportunity to engage in workshops that taught powerful techniques to implement in the classroom, school, and district. RCA is where the idea for the Middle School House System originated. We all look forward to hear what these teachers brought back with them to implement in our Middle School!
