The American Rescue Plan Act Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief required the Candler County School District to create a plan to ensure additional steps are taken to safely reopen schools for in-person instruction, keep schools open, and take appropriate measures to helps schools invest in mitigation strategies consistent with the CDC. In addition, school districts must address interrupted instruction by committing a minimum of 20% of these funds to address learning loss.
