MMS English/Language Arts classes are doing a little game-based, Christmas themed review for the end of the semester. Five Stations were set up to help them review: Vocabulary Bingo, Wrap Wars Extravaganza, (P)Arts of Speech, A Proper Christmas, and Just BowClause. 
Vocabulary Bingo- students were read the definition and had to mark the correct word on the bingo card!
Wrap Wars Extravaganza- To help save Christmas the kids competed to see who could wrap the most gifts. Before wrapping a gift, they had to choose a vocabulary word from the hat and use it in a Christmas themed sentence. The team with the most wrapped gifts at the end won!
(P)arts of speech - students colored with the colors associated with different parts of speech to create a masterpiece.
A Proper Christmas - students corrected the capitalization of proper nouns in Christmas themed passages relay-style to beat the other team in accuracy over three rounds! 
Just BowClause- students combined dependent and independent clauses from gift bags and created compound and complex sentences for their chance to carry bows on spatulas to their team’s station. The team with the most bows won!
