Amazing Shake

The Metter Middle School hosted its final Amazing Shake competition on Saturday, March 15 with the help of staff and many local community members.

The Amazing Shake aims to equip students with essential soft skills, such as how to give a proper handshake, "work a room," conduct successful interviews, and remain composed under pressure.

Participating in The Amazing Shake helps students build confidence, poise, and essential communication skills, preparing them for future

opportunities.

Over 500 MMS students began the competition, with rounds to find the top students each week. The Final Competition had over 25 MMS students and 8 Tattnall County students vying for the top 5 spots through a series of challenges and stations, where students navigate real-life scenarios and demonstrate their skills in a fun and engaging way. Judges evaluated the students in a variety of areas and named Colin Braden the top local student. The top 5 students, Adrianne Jeffers, Cason Waters, Abigail Boudreau, Colin Braden, and Charlie Lewis, will travel to Atlanta to the Ron Clark Academy March 28-30 to compete in the Global Competition with students from all over the world.
