The Metter High School Marching Tiger Pride is proud to announce that during the Heart of Georgia Band Competition this past Saturday, the Band was awarded an Overall Rating of SUPERIOR!!

The Band also rated Superior in Drum Major, Guard, Percussion, Visual Performance, Visual Effect and Music Effect!

Was rated superior in Drum Major, Percussion, Color Guard and Every Caption for Band

Coastal Empire Classic at Effingham Co. (Contest)
Was rated superior in Drum Major, Percussion, Color Guard and Every Caption for Band

PLaced first in our Class in Color Guard, Percussion and Band  (First overall win for the band since (2016)

Bands that we outscored both in and outside of our class:  ECI, Portal, Johnson Co, Jenkins Co, New Hampstead, Savannah Christian, Claxton, Bryan Co., Liberty Co., Statesboro., Screven Co., Toombs Co., Bradwell Institute, Jefferson Co. Blufton, Grovetown, Brunswick (nearly 200 in their band), Colquit Co. (nearly 200 in their band), Putnam Co., Stratford Academy, Hawkinsville, Bleckley Co., Woodland HS and Taylor Co.
